An increased use of technology means homes, businesses and other buildings need more wiring than ever before. There is also a growing need for electricians to install new components and maintain electrical equipment. In our Electrical Technology program, you’ll gain the knowledge needed for employment as a construction electrician, industrial electrician, electric motor service person or equipment sales person. After completing an apprenticeship, our graduates are prepared to pass the examinations required to become journeymen and master electricians.

Finish in 2 years by completing 16-17 credits a semester for 4 semesters

The length of time to complete a program is based on a student taking only the courses required for the program as listed in our online catalog. It does not include the cost of foundations courses that may be required based on pre-enrollment assessment scores, retaking courses or taking courses that are not required by your program of study.
